Bastrop County Wild Fires

Video shot September 5, 2011 on the north edge of Bastrop State Park. All but about 100 acres of the 6,000-acre park have been blackened by fire. Firefighters have been battling blazes for 3 days. The smoke from the fire has drifted as far as Victoria, TX, over 100 miles away. Few have perished and as of today over 1000 homes have been destroyed and over 700 have been completely lost.

God, now would be a great time to make it rain.
